This Privacy Policy describes how Huvermann Solutions GmbH (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Journalisa website (Journalisa.app) and the purchase of Journalisa software licenses.

2. Important Note: Journalisa Software
Journalisa stores all trading data exclusively on your local device. The application does not transmit trading data, portfolio information, or any financial data to our servers or any third-party servers. Your trading history stays on your computer.
This Privacy Policy covers only the data processed through our website and the purchase process, not the Journalisa desktop application itself.
3. Data We Collect
3.1 Server Log Files
When you visit our website, our web server automatically records the following data:
- IP address (anonymized after 7 days)
- Date and time of the request
- Requested URL and HTTP status code
- Browser type and operating system
- Referrer URL
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating a secure and functional website) and is deleted after 30 days.
3.2 Purchase Data (via Paddle)
Software licenses are sold through Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited, Judd House, 18-29 Mora Street, London, EC1V 8BT, UK), which acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions.
When you purchase a license, Paddle collects and processes:
- Name and billing address
- E-mail address
- Payment information (handled entirely by Paddle)
- Transaction data for tax and legal compliance
Paddle processes this data as an independent data controller for payment processing, fraud prevention, and tax compliance. Please refer to Paddle's Privacy Policy for details on their data practices.
We receive from Paddle only the data necessary to fulfill your license: your e-mail address and the license key. This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).
3.3 License E-Mail
We store your e-mail address for license management (sending your license key, handling support requests, and potential license recovery). This data is retained for the duration of your license and up to 3 years thereafter for legal record-keeping, in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR.
4. Cookies and Tracking
Our website does not use tracking cookies or analytics tools. No third-party analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) are deployed. The Paddle checkout overlay may set cookies for fraud prevention purposes during the purchase process.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only:
- With Paddle as our payment processor and Merchant of Record
- Where required by law or a valid legal process
6. International Transfers
Paddle is based in the UK. Data transfers to the UK are covered by the EU-UK adequacy decision. Paddle may process data in other jurisdictions; see their Privacy Policy for details on safeguards applied.
7. Your Rights (GDPR)
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
